Who We Are:
Jonae Media Women's Business Society, AKA (BWS), was founded in 2011 by CEO and
Marketing expert, Christina Shelley. She took note throughout the years of how
difficult it was to locate businesses and practices that included strong and
independent women and set out to make a change! We offer a nationwide database
of businesses and services offered by women, for women. We help business women
and entrepreneurs find their voice in the advertising world – by connecting
women across the nation we are working to bridge the gap and create a sisterhood
of business!

We know there are plenty of strong, independent women out there making the
business industry work for them. Our goal is to create an online directory of
women and their businesses to promote growth, empowerment, visibility and a bond
within our business community. We want to help market and promote women in
business in an efficient and inexpensive way. We all understand how it can be
more comfortable in certain situations to deal with a woman - and how difficult
it can be find someone who accommodates those needs. We are striving to make it
easier and more common to search for strong women in any field you can imagine
– every member makes our database stronger!
